This notice explains how the CuratedCorners website is currently designed to handle information. The site is a static publication; its newsletter and contact forms do not currently send or store submissions. Review this policy and update it before connecting a form provider, analytics service or other third party.

Information we collect

At present, the contact form and newsletter popup only check the information entered in your browser and display a status message. They do not transmit your name, message or email address to CuratedCorners. Do not enter information you expect us to receive through these forms until a delivery service is connected.

Your browser stores a cookie-consent choice in local storage so the site can remember whether optional cookies were accepted or declined. The site does not currently load analytics scripts when optional cookies are accepted.

Web hosting providers may process basic technical request information, such as IP address, browser details and requested page, to deliver and protect the site. The exact information, retention period and legal basis depend on the hosting provider and should be confirmed in its documentation.

Cookies and local storage

Essential browser storage supports the site's cookie-consent preference. Optional analytics are not currently connected. If analytics or advertising tools are added later, this notice and the consent controls should be updated to identify the tools, data collected and choices available.

You can clear local storage and cookies through your browser settings. Doing so removes the saved consent choice, so the consent banner may appear again. Blocking essential storage may affect how the site remembers your preference.

How information may be used

If a contact or newsletter provider is connected in the future, information submitted through it should be used only for the purpose explained beside the form—for example, responding to a question or sending requested updates. We will update this policy to name the provider and describe how to unsubscribe or request deletion.

Third-party services and links

The website may link to external websites and uses third-party resources such as hosted fonts and article photography. Those services may receive technical information from your browser when their resources load. Their own privacy notices govern their handling of that information; review them before using an external service.

We do not control external sites or services and cannot promise that their content, security or privacy practices remain unchanged.

Retention and security

CuratedCorners does not currently operate a backend database for contact or newsletter submissions. Hosting providers may keep server logs according to their own retention practices. If we add a form service, the provider's retention and security details should be documented here and submissions should be kept only as long as needed for their stated purpose.

Children's privacy

This site is intended for a general audience and is not designed to collect personal information from children. Please contact us if you believe a child has submitted information through a service connected to this site.

Your choices and requests

You can decline optional cookies using the consent banner and clear browser storage at any time. If a submission service is connected, its settings may provide additional access, correction, unsubscribe or deletion options.
